Azur was founded by Eline, a molecular biologist with a passion for both skin health and the environment. She recognized that many conventional personal care products contain an abundance of unnecessary chemicals—ingredients that can be harmful not only to the environment but also to our skin and overall well-being.

She also saw that most beauty products are packaged in plastic, and many cosmetics still contain microplastics. Inspired to create a better alternative, Eline set out to develop products that are effective, gentle, and made with greater respect for both people and the planet.
